Prizes Inside; Or, Books Covers with Clues

I’ve been enjoying the trend of illustrated book covers that contain little hints about what I’ll find inside. It’s only after I finish the book that I realize the significance of what’s on the cover. When I twig to the meaning of those hints, I feel like I’m sharing an inside joke with the author and the cover designer.
