i’m speechless on the library guidelines for Florida… and sad and angry and powerless. Are the teachers complying?
I haven’t heard anything definitive from Florida teachers or librarians, yet. But I know librarians have lost jobs in other states (Oklahoma, Texas, and Iowa) because of efforts in their communities to censor books. I’ve seen gofundme drives for money to support fired librarians and help pay legal costs.
