It’s encouraging to see calls for pushing back against book bans, but I wonder if publishers alone have the power to change this situation. Do you think that there should be more involvement from the reading and writing community in fighting book censorship?

I certainly hope so! I think the recent wave of book challenges are part of a larger cultural conflict happening in the US. It’s going to take all of us to push back and industry involvement can help a lot, given how much weight businesses can bring to bear in our society.
