I’m calling it a little early this year but there’s no way I’m going to finish the book I started last night by midnight tonight. So, here it is: my bookish year in review.
The genre and format numbers are about the same as last year. Although I read multiple genres, I clearly prefer historical fiction and mysteries. I read more historical fantasy this year and I suspect that’s just because there are more titles being published in that genre thanks to the whole romantasy trend.
In overall numbers, I was 16 books short of last year’s total. I am still pretty proud of myself for cracking 100 books in the last twelve months. I haven’t managed to get close to my peak in 2017-2018. Goals.

Wow, congrats! I can’t even fathom the logistics of reading 250 books within a year (unless that would be manga volumes…)
